Test Academy uses a points and badge system to keep practice motivating.
Experience points (XP)
You earn XP by answering questions correctly in the Learning Hub, completing practice sessions, earning badges, and completing mock tests with a score greater than 50%. Your XP total is visible on your dashboard and determines your position on the leaderboard.
Leaderboard
The Leaderboard ranks students by XP. You can filter by Today, This Week, or This Month. The leaderboard also shows global stats — total tests completed, active students, average score, and the top subject across all students.
An activity feed alongside the rankings shows recent events such as practice sessions completed and badges earned.
Badges
Badges are awarded automatically when you hit milestones. Each badge has four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond.
- Milestone — for answering 5, 10, 25, or 50 questions total in the Learning Hub
- Perfection — for achieving 3 perfect attempts in a row on the same skill
- Combo — for consecutive correct answers
- Consistency — for practising on consecutive days (streaks)
- Mastery — for reaching mastery level on a specific skill
Badges appear on your dashboard and in Performance. Earning one shows as a notification immediately in the Learning Hub and appears in the activity feed for other students to see.
