Creating a Test Academy account is free and takes a few minutes. You'll need an Australian mobile number for phone verification.
Registration steps
Step 1 — Student information
Enter your child's first name, last name, date of birth, and your postcode (4 digits).
Step 2 — Parent contact and focus area
- Enter the parent/guardian mobile number (Australian format, e.g. 04xx xxx xxx) and click Send verification code.
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to that number.
- Select a focus area: OC / Selective Preparation, or FlexiClass (select your child's year level from the dropdown that appears).
Step 3 — Email and password
Enter your email address and create a password (minimum 8 characters, must include at least one number and one special character). Tick the notifications checkbox if you'd like to receive updates.
Step 4 — Verification
Complete the security check (a simple maths question) and submit. You'll be taken straight to your dashboard.
After registration
A prompt may appear on your dashboard asking you to verify your email address. Enter the 4-digit code sent to your inbox to complete email verification. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
Common issues
- Email already in use — an account with that address already exists. Try logging in instead.
- Phone verification code not received — make sure the number is a valid Australian mobile. Landlines are not supported.
- Password rejected — ensure it is at least 8 characters and includes one number and one special character (e.g. !, @, #).
