You can update your profile at any time from your dashboard.
How to edit your profile
- Log in and go to your dashboard.
- Click Edit Profile (available in the dashboard navigation).
- Update the relevant fields and click Update Details.
Fields you can update
- Student first name and last name
- Year group — select from the dropdown
- Postcode — 4 digits
- Student birthday — day, month, and year dropdowns
- Newsletter notifications — opt in or out of updates, test news, articles, and discounts. Transactional emails (receipts, results, reminders) are always sent regardless of this setting.
Choosing your avatar
Your avatar appears on your dashboard and throughout the platform. You can customise two things: your avatar animal and your avatar background colour.
Avatar animal
Click the avatar at the top of the Edit Profile page to open the avatar picker. A set of starter animals is available to everyone for free. Additional animals can be unlocked using XP — each unlock costs 1,500 XP. Once unlocked, an animal is yours to keep and switch to any time.
Avatar background colour
Below the avatar picker you can choose a background colour for your avatar circle. Select any of the available colour swatches — your choice is saved when you click Update Details.
Changing your password
Password changes are separate from profile editing. Go to /change_password/, enter your email address, complete the security check, and a new password will be emailed to you.
Updating parent or guardian details
Parent contact details (name, mobile, address, emergency contact) are collected during class enrolment and cannot be updated through the student dashboard. Contact support to update these details.
