You need an active test bundle to access practice tests.
Starting a test
- Log in and go to your dashboard.
- Click into your active bundle.
- Select a test from the list.
- Click Start. The timer begins immediately.
The test interface
The test screen has a navigation bar at the top showing:
- A countdown timer on the left
- Text size controls (smaller/larger) to adjust readability
- View All Questions button — opens a question overview panel
- Current question position (e.g. Question 3 of 30)
Question overview panel
Click View All Questions to see a grid of all questions in the test. Each square is colour-coded:
- Empty — not yet attempted
- Blue filled — attempted
- Orange border — flagged for review
- Blue with border — current question
Click any square to jump directly to that question.
Flagging questions
Use the Flag button at the bottom of any question to mark it for review. Return to it later via the question overview panel.
Question types
- Mathematics and Thinking Skills — multiple choice (options A–D)
- Reading — comprehension questions with a passage shown on the left
- Extract — multiple source tabs you can switch between
- Cloze — fill-in-the-blank text entry
- Writing — extended text area with a word counter
Finishing the test
Click Finish Test when you're ready to submit. Your answers are saved automatically throughout, so nothing is lost if you close the browser — though the timer keeps running.
